Kuryakyn GL1800 Rear Pass Wind Deflector In Stock

Pretty useless; does nothing for wind buffeting for passenger and rider; WILL NOT fit correctly with Corbin seats- had to buy longer screws just to attach the darn thing, and still won't seat correctly. Had to buy foam air conditioner stuffing to fill in open areas. Kuryakyn missed the ball on this one!

I tried the deflector, and have to admit it live up to what I've read from other reviewers. My wife didn't notice any difference in wind turbulance. When riding single I kept worring whether the item was going to break off, because it seemed to bend backward when riding at turnpike speeds. I did lower the defector about an inch or two from suggested installation and found that the bending was less. I didn't find the item hard to install or take back off, which I have done. Others may find the item useful. I just wasn't that impressed with it.

I have had my wind deflector for 8 months now and still think its the best thing since slice bread. I kept putting the tap back and it has stoped moveing out of position. Girlfriend loves it because she can hear me better without the wind noise. I already have winglets or dragon winds on my bike so that helps improve its preformance. Would like to get a new windshield to math the deflector and get it taller. All in all great product. OH it looks cool to. Install is a tough would not want to remove it and reinstall it.

Makes very little if any differance to the rider but my girlfriend swears by it, stops turbulance around her head which means hair stays in place ergo happier female in transit. A bugger to fit and foam migrates to the out edges with time. Double sided sticking foam would be better to help stop this happening, in time I'll replace the foam myself with something more suited to the job. Great place to place club stickers etc.

I purchased the rear wind deflector and it does a great job of deflecting wind from the passenger, but let me tell you, it took two men and a boy to it installed..Just not enough room to adequately install it with out a lot of pressure to get the back rest back on again..
