What a great item that fits any Gold Wing as well as any other brand motorcycle. Very functional, it monitors your battery level, while adding a nice look to your bike. Small size allows mounting just about anywhere on your motorcycle. Definetaly deserves a Staff Pic Award!Additional Product Info
Our L.E.D. Battery Gauge is an array of L.E.D.s indicating the operating voltage of the bikes electrical system. Green L.E.D.s represent the normal operating range of your charging system, 12.5v to 14.5v. Amber L.E.D.s warn the rider that the bike is not charging. Simple two-wire connection and a compact size (about 2" x 3/4" x3/16") make installation a breeze. A daylight sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the L.E.D.s. They are bright during the day for visibility and dim at night so as not to blind the rider.

Easy install and one thing that you need. On the 08 with ABS you would have to cut an opening on one of the pocket doors for any other type guage that I have seen. I mounted it on the fork like the picture shows, next or after the Model # and run the wires down under the left pocket. Took my VOM and found a hot wire with switch on. It is very easy to see even on a bright day.

I have had this for one year now. Worked great until I rode through a heavy rain, if you buy it make sure it doesnt get too wet or seal it with something.
