GL1800 Volt/Gear Indicator w/LH Fairing Pocket Panel
Air Rider GL-1800 Volt Indicator comes mounted on a new stock Honda LEFT Fairing Pocket Panel and Easily Installs on bike. Gear/Volt indicator is a simple plug in device that requires no cutting, splicing or soldering of wires and mounts on the Left Side Fairing Pocket!
Please indicate the year of your bike. This is important for us to ensure the meter will fit properly. It will also speed up the delivery process if we know the year up front.

NOTE!! If you have an ABS model GL1800 you must order the ABS version shown on the below drop down! Includes auto dimming for night riding, low voltage warning flasher and more. Mounts by replacing the existing L/H Fairing Pocket with its own ABS replacement Panel. Choose either w/8-Switch Panel, 4-Switch Panel or mounted on a Plain Fairing Pocket Panel.

I ordered the indicator with 4 switches on the panel. I either didn't look closely enough or something because I was unaware that it comes mounted on only a panel that would REPLACE the left faring box. That didn't set well with me because I also have the 12v power receptical and the ipod plug mounted in that box. My dealer suggested I scrap the crappy mounting panel and mount it directly in the existing box lid by cutting an opening to match, using the gasket it comes with and fabricating a supporting bracket on the underside using Honda push rivets. It turned out beautifully and I find myself looking at the gear indicator all the time. Others I ride with are very impressed as well. If you install this, take the time and mount it in the lid of your existing box and toss the panel it comes mounted on.

I ordered this product with the purchase of my 2007 Wing. The dealer wasn't familiar with the item but, thought it was a great idea until it arrived for installation. They discovered it wouldn't fit properly and recommended it not be installed. Also, the readouts were installed upside down on the panel. They called the engineer who said it was the prototype for the 2007. Also would be better if the switches lit up. I still think it's a good idea so, maybe this review will provide feedback to the manufacturer for a fix.
