Additional Product Info

• 150GW circuit modulates the hi-beam current - from 100% ON to about 17% OFF. This is accomplished by using a p-channel MOSFET, which is inherently safe, the MOSFET is designed to fail in the ON state. For additional safety, the circuit DOES NOT utilize the lo-beam whatsoever! • 150GW comes with a detachable daylight sensor, which simply plugs into the pathBlazer. The day light sensors functions as a switch; it stops modulation when it cannot see enough daylight. • The internal circuitry is being controlled by a microprocessor. The microprocessor allows for customizable features. If you turn the high beam on and turn the ignition on three times quickly, the microprocessor takes that as an input and changes the sensitivity. There are two settings "High" and "Low". • PathBlazer uses a soft-switching. Soft-switching is a technique which throttles the current flow through the bulb filament, so that there's no "thermal shock" - as opposed to a sudden inrush of current, which can damage the bulb filament or shorten it's life considerably. This is far superior than maintaining a small voltage! • 150GW unit is totally self-contained. There are no hidden boxes or switches. There are no wires to cut or splice. • The daylight sensor has a low frequency filter to avoid false triggering. Please note that florescent lamps may not trigger the sensor - it needs constant incandescent light. • Select hi-beam to modulate - as long as there's sufficient daylight. If you enter a tunnel or if it gets dark, it will stop the modulation of the hi-beam and stay ON steady. Select lo-beam to end modulation. You have the full control.

Ran this this Modulator for about a week then no lights at all.Tore headlight pod apart again and found a bad solder connection where tabs connect to board.Resoldered connection and has been good ever since.Saved my life several times.

Just did a "random" survey of some people in my apt. complex - asked them to look at the difference and if it would help get their attention (these were all car drivers - NOT motorcyclists) and everyone said it would def. help get their attention (a few actually said they thought it might be some kind of emergency vehicle - good reaction) could explain why a cpl of these reviews noted people pulling over for them... i think i'll keep it!

Uber easy install...nice when the prep takes 4 times longer than the installation itself... take your time making the hole for the sensor - work up to the size you need - I changed all the bulbs out since I had the light nacelle opened up - now I have spares if I need them - worked flawless - ready to road test it and see how it helps!

Easy to install. It really grabs the eyes when used. I think it should be a mandatory piece of safety equipment on your bike! Two small complaints. 1) When on it causes a tiny click in the audio system. Not a big deal. 2) Perhaps it is a programming issue but I had problems at night when trying to use highbeams as it flashed my headlights ON and OFF not low/high or SOLID HIGH like it should be at night. For the safety it provides during the day I can live with this.

Very easy and quick install. Works as stated BOTH lights FLASH on High Beam and installing sensor was a snap.Haven't ridden with it yet due to realy bad weather but I can tell it is a very wise add on.
