It does provide a lot of information but only during the day. It has no light and they do not plan to add one at this time. Finding a place to mount it is a problem. A simple 3rd wire to run to an acc feed to supply light would have been so easy and made it usable 24 hrs a day.

I found that you can mount this on the goldwing emblem just above the gas cap lid. It mounts with velcro so this is an easy place to mount it & easy to read the status of the battery with just a glance.

Just installed and I'm glad I did. It's nice to be able to check the health of the bikes battery at a glance. An additional benefit is when the bike is running you can see the voltage flowing into the battery which ultimately provides the health of the bikes alternator. Only drawback is finding a place to mount it.

It’s waterproof, but may be no hot. Be careful, avoid high temperature.

I had this product, but the version for car and SUV (Argus BB-SMB12 Battery Bug Starting Battery Monitor). It was installed above my SUV’s battery just following the instruction. But the LCD display died after 3 months and I think the high temperature is the reason.

I have lots of extras on my bike and this is very handy and makes me relax knowing i have an expert working to let me know if i,m having any battery problems
