GL1800 Accessories Pakit Rak for GL1800 Without An Existing Trailer Hitch

This kit is for GL1800's without a trailer hitch. It comes with a receiver bracket and is attached to the side saddle sub frame. The Packit Rak is designed to support 25 pounds including the weight of the luggage bag, which weighs approx. 7 lbs. Bag demensions are 21" Wide x 12" Tall 11" Deep.

The bag is strong, sturdy and constructed with rigid foam laminated sides, including top & bottom, which allows it to hold it's shape, even when completely empty, and is water resistant. The bag cover slips over the bag and pan corners to keep luggage bag dry, free from road grime and fading from the sun.

The Receiver Bracket is designed to be completely hidden when not in use. Stock center fender reflector covers the receiver hole (attachment hardware included to re-use stock reflector). It intalls in 45 minutes or less with minimal tools required.

	1/8/2010 reviewer: SilverWing Rating: This is great for carrying extra "stuff" on a long trip without adding a trailer that will limit your speed. I use it for my bike cover, cleaning supplies, and battery tender. Very stable and doesn't affect your handling. Just remember you are a little longer when backing up to something.

It was one of the easiest installs too, no problems (thats very unusual...) Check my gallery for a couple of pictures with the rain cover on and off. I wish I could have bought it here but it's a new item for wingstuff. Better deal here than from the manufacturer!
