GL1800 PIAA Driving Light Mirror Mount Set

An excellent product with the clearest instructions I've ever read - clearly written by a native English speaker who has actually done the job themselves once or twice.

I was a bit nervous about removing the mirrors (necessary as the brackets mount to the same points as the mirrors themselves)but it was all surprisingly easy.


Once on, the mounting is solid and vibration free. Brackets are fairly large and hang down quite a way from the mirrors, so its possible to fit large or small spots as you wish.

Only negative point is that rubber housing for the mirrors rides up over the bracket at the bottom, leaving a slight gap. Could be an issue in extremely wet weather, but easily fixed with sealant if it bothers...

Not cheap, but deserves 5 stars because it works and instructions are good.

These are a must if you plan to add any serious aftermarket lighting like the PIAA 910s as shown. The brackets come in matt black with one drill hole for mounting but this is easily supplemented by drilling as required. I have PIAA 910s mounted below (as in picture) and a set of PIAA 1500 driving lamps on the top. The mount is solid and vibration free sue to the 3 point mounting to the mirror mounts and the guage of steel for the mounts. Alignment with the headlights is excellent and from a driving perspective, they are quite unobtousive.
