GL1800 Chrome Side Fairing Accents WITH Radiator Chrome Mesh Inserts

These r very sweet !!! lookn installed but dont bother with the double stick tape. It holds better than the so call glue they give u but it makes the inserts stick out 2 far away from the fairing so . Here is what i did i use the glue they gave me plus the glue i had left over from the handle grips mixed the 2 then i went down 2 the hardware store and payed 43 cents for 8 very small chrome screws drilled a tiny hole n each of the inserts were u cold not c them and BAM im done and they will neve fall out and they look HOT !! LOL Hope this will help C Ya

Looks great and fairly easy to install. I installed the grills in the Accents and let them cure overnight before I installed the units in the motorcycle. They look great and the chrome is excellent.

The product is super and looks great. One word of advise (can't give it 5 stars because of this)take that sorry excuse for adhesive (they call it DALOC 8420)and throw it in the nearest trashcan. The adhesive lasted all of 24 hours then let go COMPLETELY and the inserts fell out (ALL OF THEM). Lucky for me the bike was in my driveway and I was cleaning it at the time. You can rub your finger over this junk and it wipes away.

Chrome looks OK. Easy install. But I have lost one of the mesh inserts on a interstate hwy. I would suggest securing inserts to the side fairing with cable ties.
