GL1800 Accessory Frame Covers w/Rubber Inserts

These are pretty nice and install easy. I'm going to have to tweek the holes on the left side to allow it to move up on the end a little, it's hitting the chrome side cover for the engine. Not a big deal I don't think. The rubber disks are kind of tricky, I thought that they were to face one way, but wasn't happy with the way they attached, so I ended up reversing them, now they fit well, and I don't think they will come off.

The Drag Specialties and Add-on products appear to be the same. Came in a white box with no directions. There is some two sided tape on the backside, but I didn't activate it or pull the backing off. The covers fit pretty snug on the frame spar when you tighten down the three screws over the pivot bolts. That appears to be enough to me. I'll ride it that way for a while and decide later. I like the option to remove them for service if necessary.

Overall, they look good and paired along with the passenger frame covers that fit behind the passenger floorboards, give the frame a completed look.

4 stars for lack of instructions and some 'fitting' to get the left one to clear the chrome engine cover. Buy them again? definitely!

If these were easier to line up the bolt holes I would have given 5 stars for looks, because they look good. In reality , these were a total bitch to install

I added these and I am very pleased over all. I did not use the rubber inserts. Instead I removed the the original chrome inserts from oem plastic scuff guards and stuck them on perfectly. only gave 4 stars because I think they could have double stick tape to help secure to frame.( thats just me. I use my own tape)
