GL1800 Accessory Chrome Martini LED Trunk & S.Bag Lights

Looks great.but since i install this im having problem with my turn singal..put turn singal on and the fourway come on..

I bought the trunk kit, and now want to add the saddlebags, too, since it looks so good on my Wing.

Two problems I ran into that I was a bit upset about, which is why I only gave this 3 stars instead of 5: First, one of the wring harness connectors had a broken clip, so I taped it in place to make sure the plug didn't come loose on its own. Second, when pushing the connecters together, two of the wires slipped out of the plug, and I had to push them back into the clip with needlenose pliers.

Show-Chrome needs to do a bit of Quality Control on their supplier of these plug parts.

Lower stars simply because of the delay in shipping and also, I have 3 bulbs burned out on the left saddlebad light. We will see how WingStuff handles this. I feel like at the price of these martini's they should make it good. Very unusual for LED's to burn out so quick. But for the look they are awesome! They set my Goldwind apart from everyone else's.

An update from my previous review above. It finally got warm enough in the garage to install these lights. Trunk install took me about 1.5 hours and the saddlebags 3 hours. Pretty straight forward install with good instructions - I'm just slow and carefull. Very happy with the end result. I have taken several day and night photos to view on my photo gallery to look at given the ugly photo on the left. Very solid pieces and look great. I'm sure they will look even better when I get around to cleaning my bike! Bonus feature is these plug into the braking system as well so all lights become more intense when the brakes are on so even folks beside you know you are braking! Saddle bag lights require drilling two holes per saddlebag but the instructions made it clear how and where to do them. Will give an update about their durability in the future.

Lower stars simply for delay in shipping. These were ordered 8/26/08. Just received shipment 12/10/08. So much for being available back in Oct. Have not completely unpacked them yet but they look like nice. The bulbs look fairly clear which I would prefer in the 'off' position. All pieces feel solid. The saddlebag set will require drilling 4 holes total. The trunk set needs no holes. No info in the directions on how to wire them to act as turn signals too - any suggestions? The "Additional Product Info" statement appears to have been cut off before explaining what is necessary. Could be awhile before I install these.
