If buying complete kit with battery, the Generation III sealed gel cell battery is also higher output than original and is gel and maintenence free so we can ship UPS fully charged anywhere in the USA. NOTE!! When changing GL1500 Alternators, we find that the Factory Honda Rubber Dampers are usually worn out causing vibration, We Highly Recommend ordering those when replacing your Alternator, they are sold each and you need four, they are also listed on below drop down!
Transportation info - Compufire battery conforms to the non-spillable battery requirments in the code of Federal Regulations 49 (CFR49), revised 10/1/98, section 173.159 (d), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), 40th Edition, Packing Instruction 806 and the International Maritime Dangerous Goods code (IMDG code), page 8121. IATA special provision A67 and IMDG special provision 238 for non-spillable batteries, which classifies them as non-regulated goods provided their terminals are packed in a manner so as to protect them from short circuits, whenever these regulations apply.

I Bought my Battery From The Odyssey Company Online. A pure lead Gel w/ a Metal protective case and I have not had another day one electrical problems.

I ordered the battery with it and together they actually made my running lights brighter at idle than they were before running down the highway. Great product.
	7/2/2009 reviewer: John Rating: This unit works great while it's good I have been though two I'm on my third. The firat one I got though Ebay worked for a short time less then the summmer. I figured it might have been old so I got a new one with the battery and the same thing happened. I'm an Electrician and I asure you there are no shorts on my bike. I just got a replacement though my warrantee. Lets see how this one does. I have very few lights on it. and the bike is kept indoors with only 50K miles on it. If this problem persits I think I;m going to let the bike go. Don't need the stress. Ride safe.

	5/26/2009 reviewer: JJ Rating: 2 words. Tight fit!!!! but it does fit a bit like a puzzle to get it in place though. After waiting for close to a week to get the pars. (They don't ship batteries any other way then ground)it took me a few hours to change everything over. I yanked out the bad alternator and put all the new stuff in. I hooked up my tester and turned on the bike. It immediately started and went straight into a steady idle. I figured I must have left the choke on for some reason (or my kids were "riding my bike again) but I looked and no it was not a bit engaged. That was a first so I let the bike warm up for a few minutes then took her out for a spin. I can honestly say my wing runs better over all, add in the piece of mind of a high quality product and it was worth every penny
