Bazooka Audio GL1800 4 Channel Amp Kit 01-05 Gold Wing
Already upgraded your 2001-2005 Honda GL1800 Gold Wing speakers, but still not enough? The NEW Bazooka GL1800 Gold Wing motorcycle 200 Watt amp kit includes our FAST-HON Plug and Play interface cable with OEM connectors that plug directly into the factory HONDA harness, and our ULTRA SMALL 4 channel 200W amplifier.
This allows for seamless integration of the amplifier into the HONDA system and maintains full use of all factory handle bar controls. The MC-HON-AMK motorcycle amp kit works on all 01-05 GL1800 bikes. Includes auxiliary output plug for an optional amplified BTA6100 Bazooka Bass Tube subwoofer that can be installed into the trunk. (BTA6100 and FAST-HON-SIK subwoofer installation kit sold separately).

Just installed this today.
Spent about 5.5 hrs installing it. I have yet to ride but in just standing there beside the bike it is louder. I purchased the bazooka speakers also. #1 The directions were "ok" for the amp. There were NO directions for the speakers. I dont know if my amp was matched to the included connection cables from the battery back to the amp because there was NO WAY to simply plug the red/black leads into the right side of the amp. The amps connections were for exposed wire, screw down style so I had to clip the plug on ends then simply screw them to the amp. Also, there were NO directions for getting the rear speaker housing open which was a pita until I found someones online posting describing that you had to remove the 3 exposed screws as well as every other screw up under the luggage lid. whew! Tech support is mon-fri so your warned. Seems to work so far so no complaint there. Just semi poor directions. A typical example would be "take off the fuse cover, screw wire in." Then its onto another step..Your left to figure out if and when to replace lids etc.. :( |

Finally! An audio upgrade for all the '01 thru '05 Goldwings with a real plug n play harness. Installation takes about 4 - 8 hours depending on experience. I took my time and spent a day. I purchased some Polk Audio DB501 for my speaker upgrade instead of purchasing the Bazooka Audio Upgrade kit with speakers. The Polks are Marine grade and rated at 45W RMS which are perfect with this amp. Don't waste your time with your stock speakers if you upgrade to this amp. Purchase either the full Bazooka upgrade kit with speakers or purchase the J&M upgrade speakers for the Goldwing 1800 and get ready for some real listening level. I use to cruse around at around volume level 23 and now it's at 15! I can now jump on the Interstate at 75 and hear the tunes loud and clear compared to hardly at all before. Add the Bazooka BTA6100 that straps down in the trunk and plugs right into the amp and the sound is amazing! More low end than you know what do with yet gives you that full complete sound. I get a lot of looks going through town with my MP3 cranked to the 9's! Amp is all solid state and so far have run at high volume level for a couple hours run and amp barely gets warm. Amp fits conveniently in optional CD changer compartment in trunk neatly tucked away. With or without the Bazooka Sub this amp is welcome upgrade to your system. Highly recommended for the pre '06 Goldwings.
