Die-cast 4x7 aluminum frame in Chrome or Black Powder Coat Finish with Dual Brilliant Upper & Lower Row of Red LED Lights. Dual Row LED is Made in USA by Back Off along optional flush mounting bolts also sold separately.

would be 5 stars if the unit had decent directions. Top and bottom LED's can be wired as tail lights and stop lights - together or separately. Requires notching of the license plate to accommodate the wires. 3 wires per light row - low intensity, high intensity and ground (red, white & black). Functions well and lights are very bright.

Initially, it was unclear to me whether I could wire this as a brake AND running light based on the product description. Well, you can. 3 wires from the top light and 3 wires from the bottom. Installation instructions left a bit to be desired but, you can figure it out. (I never was very good at wiring) Nice chrome and to me it looks more appealing than the others offered. Nice rear safety lighting addition.

I purchased the chrome frame, which looks nice. However, poor instructions are one thing. . . But NO installation instructions?! Also, no wire connectors are provided. I purchased tap splices (18-14 AWG) to do the wiring. Also, do yourself a favor and look at http://www.bikerhiway.com/installinfo/LPFdual/LPFdual.pdf for installation instructions.
The lights ARE very bright, but knock off two stars for lack of instructions and for no electrical connectors being included. |

Purchased and installed the Chrome one on my 07' Escapade Elite Trailer. Have the small motorcycle size Virginia trailer license plate. Running it Dual Mode. Adds a lot more light to the back of the trailer. Attractive and Functional. Appears and feel sturdy/well build.
