 Traxxion Dynamics is proud to introduce the next revolution in motorcycle suspension! The AK-20 Axxion Cartridge Kit. The AK-20 Axxion Cartridge Kit is a complete bolt-in upgrade that replaces the stock ill-performing springs and cartridges with a pair of extremely high-tolerance CNC-machined cartridges, and top quality springs to your needs, weight, and intended use. Our 20mm cartridge tubes are bored and honed to .0005.

The 12.5mm cartridge rods are centerless ground to .0005. No other suspension unit is held to these exacting standards. Our unique bearing design helps seal the cartridge to improve low speed damping and increase damping response time, and virtually eliminates stiction.

The components are then hard-coat anodized to prevent oxidation and wear contamination of the fork fluid. All of this leads to a cartridge that performs beyond any customers expectation. As an added bonus, the kit is completely modular in construction, and can be retrofitted to future bikes you may buy. Included in the kit is one set of AK-20 Axxion Cartridges, one set of our proprietary Omni Springs matched to the riders weight and riding preferences, and one quart of high quality fork fluid.

The Honda GL1800 does not have any external adjustments so we have developed a Rebound and Spring Preload adjustable fork cap that can be added to the AK-20 Kit as an option. Our caps give you the ability to adjust the suspension for varying conditions and loads.  The caps can be added at anytime after you have the AK-20 Kit install in your forks.

Your stock Showa forks have a "damper rod" in one side and an extremely low quality cartridge in the other side to control the movement of the wheel. The damper rod side is basically useless. This style of fork is used for cheap production parts. Trying to compare a damper rod fork to a proper cartridge fork is like trying to compare a carburetor to fuel injection. There simply is no comparison. The damper rod fork is the cheapest, poorest performing system of damping, and has been around the motorcycle business for so long nobody seems to be able to remember.

The "cartridge fork" came along about 20 years ago in sport bikes, and since has been highly refined. Unfortunately for Wing owners, none of that refinement has made it into the cartridge on the ONE side of your bike!

The next problem is your stock fork springs. The stock springs are so weak and wimpy that they can't even hold the bike up; never mind that they are completely unable to hold you up when you get on it, or take a passenger along. Just pick your bike up off the side stand sometime and watch it collapse before you even get on!

The result is a fork that bottoms over large bumps, wallows in high speed turns, dives dramatically when you pull the brake, cups and tears up your tires, and leaves you generally feeling uncomfortable and lacking confidence in the feel of your bike.

Complete dissertations have been written by Gold Wing tuners and enthusiasts on the internet on the subject of wobbling Gold Wings and what to do to fix them. At best, the solutions offered are "work arounds" to the real problem. "Overtighten your steering bearings" seems to be the best known cure to date.

Gold Wings wobble because of bad front suspension. That's it. No rocket science. No expert required. Just fix the ill-performing stock fork, and your problem will be solved.

I had the Traxxion Suspension (front, back and sterring bearing) installed on my 2003 1800 Goldwing. The only regret is that I didn't have it done sooner. The ride is visibly improved. The next Wing I get, if it doesn't have improved suspension from the stock suspension, I'll have the Traxxion system installed. I got mine done in Abbotsford BC at RMR Suspension - Good job!

Traxxions's suspension upgrade (the 'full monty') completes the goldwing. I never though such a plush, compliant and inspiring ride could be experienced on the wing! I spent the afternoon gliding through long sweepers & absorbing potholes without a second thought. I also had the 'all balls' head bearing kit, rear shock kit, steel braided line & traxxion custom compound brake pads installed. The bike certainly seems easier to handle at lower speeds and the overall improvement in ride quality is phenomenal. Finally i feel the front suspension working properly - the front tire feels planted & communicative. A special thank you to Dan at traxxion & Kyle at wingstuff for being so patient and taking such good care of my (overseas) order.
This is one upgrade i should have done from the beginning. THIS IS HOW A GOLDWING SHOULD RIDE!!!

Complete installation by Moti & Arnon (motorbike garage), Ramat Hasharon. Both of whom are friends, skilled mechanics and the only people i trust to work on my bikes.

I had mine installed at Gary's Hobbie Shop outside of Atlanta, GA along with the All Balls bearings. It has been one year and 17k miles. I had the bearings tightened after 4k miles along with the rear swingarm which was out of spec from the factory to meet my preference. Once all the fine tunning was done the bike is how it is supposed to be or should be.

I have almost no wobble ... hands free in 4th from 55 to 20mph isn't an issue. Before it was a dramatic wobble which would lead to a wreck without hands on the bars.

Now I just enjoy the ride. The setup is worth it and I'm not sure home much any one item contributed to correction ... bearings versus brace versus Traxxion versus swingarm torque increase versus tires, etc. I'm certainly in a better place now with the bikes handling.

I PUT THE TRAXXION CARTRIDGE KIT ON MY BIKE 5/22/09, SPENT THE MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND RIDING OVER 300 OF THE BEST, SMOOTHEST AND MOST ENJOYABLE RIDING I HAVE EVER HAD! IF YOU ARE THINKING YOU HAVE A NICE RIDE NOW JUST SPEND ABOUT 4 HOURS AND HAVE WINGSTUFF INSTALL TRAXXION CARTRIDGE KIT ON YOUR RIDE AND TELL ME ABOUT YOUR NEW BIKE! YES IT IS THAT GRATE OF A PRODUCT, MAY BE BETTER.
