We purchased this helmet to replace our Nolan N102's. These helmet are very quite Cameron installed the J&M headsets and you can't even see the speakers the mic is no longer in your mouth the sound is great no wind noise just music I had to turn down the music 6 notches or risk going deaf the. The sizing of the helmets are about like the Nolan N103 I ordered a medium and a small the medium did not fit me my N102 was a medium the Shark is now a large so if you are replacing a N102 go up 1 size great Helmets Thanks Cameron

Still trying to find an inexpensive way to fit comms to this helmet, just an update that the neck skirt can be removed, however it takes great care and considerable force, the shkirt is in oone peice and is a sprung loaded fit anchoring in the front on both sides, removing the skirt does not make a clamp styler intercomm fit however. will keep you up to date when I find a solution.

Another quick note about the Evoline as I wish to give as much info to prospective buyers as I can regarding comms, the ear recesses are very shallow and only a very shallow speaker will fit unless you are willing to do some cutting of the shell foam and cheek pads as they are plastic backed and would block sound, feel free to email me and I'll send you photos of what I did prior to realising standard clamp style headsets will not work with this helmet. Another problem not directley related to the helmet but more a problem of the GL1800 is the fact you can hardly get the helmet to fit in the top box, never a problem with the GL1500. With absolutely nothing in the top box including cd stacker and lid pockets, it will fit in, with anything as mentions you'll be stressing the lid and hinges of the top box, this will be the same with vertually any full face lid! Don't get me wrong, I like the Evo line, just having a dammed hard time getting comms to fit it, again any help on this matter would be appreciated. Only 3 stars as it was supposed to be a touring helmet good for comms, unfortunatley not the case.

Very nice helmet, just bought one, but it'd downfall is in the fitting of a comms headset. The lower skirt which is not removal makes it impossible to fit any of J&M's standard headsets, here is a quote from J&M "OK ,, sorry for my confusion ,,,,,,,

The installation we do in the Shark is very complex and there are no written instructions for it ,,,,,,,,,

We use our resources not only in the headset installation area of J&M ,,, but from our sewing shop as well ,,,,,,,,
We also use an integrated mike/socket component that is custom drilled thru the shell of the helmet, as the shark will not accept a clamp ,,,,,,,,
We just don’t have any way to help you from here ,,,,,,
So other than a custon installation by J&M, so far I'm stuck with a helmet and no way to install comms, would appreciate any help with this. I live in Australia so a round trip to the US for the helmet via post would cost a fortune, plus install labour of $75.00 plus custom headset! So if you live outside the US BE AWARE! of this draw back! Better and cheaper option is Nolan N103. Not as space aged but a damm good helmet. If you don't need comms, then no problem. Major setback as it been advertised to readily accept comms!

Just received my Evoline today. I'm impressed by the finish, fit,
& ease of the flip up. The sun visor works well. The hemet it replaces is a Schuberth. wasn't impressed with the Nolan 103.
