GL1800 Air Bag Superbrace w/Fork Protectors

I just put one of these on today. Simple installation, even for me (very poor mechanic).

Some people have commented that the air bag line is left hanging. Maybe I got a new model. On mine, you do have to disconnect the air bag lines from the brackets (10mm bolt), but I simply reattached them after I had installed the brace.

BTW - This DOES make a huge difference on front wheel wobble while turning at low speeds.

Only 4 stars because the brake hose retainers cannot be re-fastened. A little more engineering ingenuity would solve the problem. Can't wait for the snow to melt so I can try out the bike with these new parts. Instructions weren't too bad.

Made a big difference to the handling. The 2 piece design appears to be very strong and stable. This unit has 4 bolts to clamp the 2 front and back pieces together. The other model has 3 pieces and 8 bolts, which can loosen.

Got one of the first braces from the factory directly..nicely fit and finished! Easy install, only problem was the two brake hose retainers had to be unbolted and removed completely. Right now they are swinging in the wind on the brake lines..you cannot replace them on the new Superbrace. The instructions were less than satisfactory but it was a no brainer to put it on....I contacted the factory president regarding their instruction sheet and rewrote it for them as it should be. So, far I like it as there is nothing else on the market for the Airbag Goldwing...at least Superbrace stepped up to the plate and made one....I am very disappointed that Kuryaykn did not compete and build one too.
Good Product...I can recommend it to those who have the airbag option.
