GL1800 Gold Wing 2-Piece Aircraft Aluminum Bellypan

Great product! After taking a casual glance under the bike fresh from a Pacific Northwest/Canadian trip, I noticed a sizable dent w/gouge in the vacinity of the coolant tank! Man, am I glad I had this inexpensive piece of insurance; that memorable trip would have been remembered for "other" reasons! Easy install, and easy filter access.

The installation of this pan is very easy. Pay attention to the reviewers and you'll have no problems. I assembled the two pieces, cut down the screw length and disassembled prior to installation. I loosened the fiber acorn nuts enough to give me some clearance and popped the main pan right in. Watch the torque on the acorn nuts. I am sure that they will strip if you are not careful. I fastened the vented panel and I was done. Install was about 25 minutes. I've only put on 300 miles with the pan in place but I do notice that wind and truck blast have less affect. I have no indication of more heat at this point but No Dak hasn't exactly had record high temps of late. We'll see what happens when we ride south in June.

Belly pan works great, no more problems with side wind or trucks causing the bike to catching wind underneath the bike. Buy one you'll love it

Super easy install. Offers great protection to underside of bike. Doesn't look too bad either. Effect on crosswinds has yet to be determined. I like the two piece design with the removable front section. Makes oil changes easy.

Believe it or not, the belly pans really cuts down on wind shear. Wife even noticed we were not being tossed around as much. Purchased more for protecttion of coolent res., hope for some other benifits. Not hard to put on follow instrctions. right price
