Very beautiful manufacturing, very estétique.
The problem, with platforms Kuryakyn, is that the kickstand does not go back up enough and rubs very quickly in the bends to the left.
Difficult to drive with, too dangerous, I have to put back the origin.

Show Chrome blew it with this one. It hits my Kury boards and reduces my ground clearance when turning left to the point where I might as well be riding a trike or maybe a 49 Pan. A little shorter than stock but at least 2 1/2 times heavier so no problem with bending which is why I bought it to begin with (I ran into a fellow who had broken 2 stock stands). One man installation is a bit of a bear but it can be done. Today, seeing as how a significant portion of the chrome is now gone due to the dragging, I will "re-adjust" the configuration with my trusty grinder and get back what has been taken away...... As for the "big" foot, oh well I guess it's get a separate pad for the soft stuff. You know, it's a little reminiscent of those universal parts we used to get back in the 60's and 70's. You know the ones that don't fit or work with any known machine in this universe.

First of all is the hole for the side stand switch was drilled 90 degrees off. It kept the side stand light lite with it up. I had to drill another hole for the switch to work. Second was I was wanting a little longer stand than original. This one isn't any longer than stock. If all you want is chrome,it looks good.

This has a very large foot. The installation wasn't all that hard, you just had to ber persistant. If you install this under the floorboards watch out on cornering, as it will drag.

Great product with a tough install. Let me add my experience installing this monster. I agree with the spring-first method as explained by others here but I did not have the strength or leverage to do it alone so my suggestion is to get a friend to help which made the process a snap.
Attach the spring then one person uses body weight to pull on the kickstand while the other person aligns and secures the kickstand. Fast and easy.
