This is a great product but the install is a chore. I run a 06 loaded without air bag and am not real mechanical but be ready for a job while installing this.

Added Torque Loops and Kijng Snake pipes along with the air filter and wow bike runs great. Look at Madog Bassins you tube indformation it realy helps, thank you MADOG.

Just installed my K&N filter to day and found after a short spin that throttle/ power response was much impproved. Its a big undertaking to change this filter especially on the airbag model but for any wing drivers living in Kilikenny, Ireland Tommy Campion is your only man aided by his two helpers Joe and Ollie.

well it was a chore but i basically forced to do it myself, my local honda shop said they would not chanfe it even though i was going to have the bike serviced there, and they said it would take them 3 hrs to change, and that was the time it took me, i found step by step instructions on line complete with pictures, i rode today and could tell a differance in the throttle/ power response, i got to get some good experiance, after installing the ecm/ back up modules the tech tip on how to reset the ecm saved a bunch, and it worked fine happy riding

It's the dead of winter here and so I haven't had the oportunity to fire it up and ride. Will see about its function once spring arrives. Lots of "up close and personal" time with the bike in order to fit this but then again, that's not all bad either. What I have a question about is the filters fit. Seems it was about 1/16" too large front to back. Made for an impossible seat until you remove the OEM rubber seals as per instructions, and even then fitment was difficult at best. Had to very carefully fit this into the gap around the perimeter of the air box being careful not to press down enough to actually seat it. This would have caused bulging puckers which I was concerned would be an issue once the top was placed. Think I got everything together ok, may never know. Has anyone else found this to be a just slightly off sized piece?

Excellent. Change in the voice engine for the better, but difficult to install but will benefit when you open parts of the bike I mean you will gain experience
