I bought the Pakit Rak luggage rak system and a Bushtec V2 hitch at the same time. This combination makes for the perfect GW luggage and cooler carrier system. With a full hitch, you do not have to worry about weight limits of the items in your bag, and the Pakit Rak rides on a very low center of gravity. I do not notice it is even there when riding in strong winds.
The GW license plate shows through when the Pakit is in place and the rain cover provides great protection. The bag is very durable, has many compartments and will last for many years to come.
The only cons are the Pakit hitch mount is smaller than usual and does not have a lock. When going over speed bumps, it may scrape the bottom of the tray, and mounting the luggage using the bar requires you to get on your knees (unless the wife does it).
I highly recommend the Pakit Rak for anyone traveling weeks at a time. It will releive the weight in the OEM luggage compartments or using the trunk luggage rack for heavy items and risk cracking. Now when I retire, I can purchase that trailer and take a trip for 6 months! |

Change your own GL1800 oil every 4K and SAVE $$$$. It is very easy and straight forward. Wingstuff has all the parts (wrench, Honda oil, OEM filter and crush washers). Install time 20 mins! |

This is an accessory that should have been included on the GL18000 from the start. The difference it makes from the wind defection is signficant for the driver and passenger. I give it 4 stars from the weak means in which you can adjust the position of the defectors, it is a friction bolt, and as we know, over times, losens and then you must have a wrench to tighen it up again. I wish it was re-engineered to have pre-selected position notches. Install time 30 mins! |

Perfect accessory for that GL1800 spoiler. I added this before I installed the spoiler which made it simple. The product comes safely shipped in a clear plastic tube and the Plug N Play wiring is easy as 1-2-3. Highly recommend this and being a novice installer, it is a confidence builder! Install time, 30 mins! |

Easy to install following their written instructions. The OEM connection wires on the GL1800 are hidden inside the bottom engine ledge, but if you follow the other wires, they are there, just covered with black tape and a dummy electrical plug insert which you need to remove. The left pocket needs to be removed and the large gray wiring adapter uncoupled from the plastic tie down, and this makes the install of the OEM lighted button a snap. I used the power bypasss connector so the lights are on when I want them, as opposed to when the low beams are on.
I was impressed with the ease of installation and glad I did the work to save $$$. I only can give this 4 stars because I had a defective bulb after 4 hours of driving and have asked for a replacement. I have to remove the cowl to replace the bulb, which will result in another 45 mins or labor. So far I am awaiting the replacement of the 35W bulb from Wingstuff (Tim) who obtained this product from Big Bike Parts in Wiconsin (which I do not understand this relationship). I will let you know how the hassle of getting a bulb goes. |

These were very easy to install and look great. I would have liked the LED lights to be brighter during the day, but at dusk and night, they are fabulous and give me assuarnce that people are aware of my intentions to turn. I had Baker undfer the mirror airfoils and this made the install alittle more difficult as the bolts have to be pushed hard to seat correctly. Make sure you do not strip the threads if you have to install with the Baker wings!
Install time was 30 mins! |

Outstanding manufactured hitch, more expensive than most other alternatives at Wingstuff. But for securely pulling a MC trailer that costs thousands of dollars or a Pakit(tm) rack system, this is the hitch for you. Knowing that this is tightly manufactured to the exact specifications of the GL1800 frame assured me that I would not have to muscle it into place, like the other lower cost hitches I considered with reviews. The only issue I had was the GL18000 mount on the right side of the bike being so narrow that you have to work hard to tighten the bolt with special effort. Swing the muffler out of place as they suggest on this side, the left side has plenty of space. Install time for a novice going slowly to make sure this was installed correctly, 3 hours. |

Easy to install if you feel comfortable drilling holes in your trunk and can follow written instuctions. Remember to measure twice, drill once using a small drill size and increasing with a larger drill size! I swapped out the OEM LED's on the bar for the switched LED lights that provide additional brillance when using your turn signals. Do this at the same time you order or you will have to remove the spolier. Install time as about 1 hour. High recommend for that outstanding look! |

I had the unit installed for 3 weeks and the rear tire monitor started to loose signal. Eventually (after removing the battery each time) the unit would function. Finally the LED display completely failed, so I re-packaged up the unit, asked for a RMA, and WingStuff is sending a replacement. I really like the unit as monitoring the pressure in real time makes me feel safe. I am hoping that I got a defective unit and that this failure is not a condition of the unit. For the price and ease of installation, this is a great unit. I give it one less star for the reliability. |

Very easy to install and the wireless remote worked right out of the box. The only difference I see are that my caps are labeled 1 and 2 rather than F and R. Not sure I got a new model or old, but they function as advertise. Wingstuff VIP price for this product cannot be matched anywhere. They are as high as $229 on other websites. For the price, it is well worth not having to check the tires everytime I ride, or if I have a slow leak which could be problematic on long hauls. |

After using these floorboards for 6 months, the back shifter position is too low for my comfort. I arch my heel to shift.
I give this accessory 4 stars, the install was very easy, the custom look is great and when not shifting in traffic, the floor boards are extremely comfortable. I will keep them, but I wanted to share.
If anyone knows how to elevate the back shifter so I don't have to work hard to shift, please let me know. |

Installation of the boards was 90 minutes. This was primarily because I used extra caution when removing the brake lever as to not have the rod slip into the housing as others had learned the hard way.
Using the back shifter is taking a little time to adjust for me as the heel position is back from my normal flat foot position.
After installation, there is no opportunity to slip you front toe under the shifter as in the OEM position. But I wanted comfort and chrome for the long rides.
I will give it some time as I believe that these floorboards will turn out to be a great purchase. |

Took about 30 minutes to istall but easy to do. After install, it still requires me to lift up the floorboards to activate it. Looks great and has a wider area at bottom for stability |
