The product is easy to install. Take care to decide where you want the pads in advance since you only get one chance. I believe one of my pads was mis-cut and so my alignment was off on one side (hence my 4 star rating). |

The Scuff Pads look great and are very easy to install, but like others have said you really need to take your time since you only get one shot at properly placing each pad. I recommend purchasing them if you hang helmets on your bike. |

Wow, this is a very bright light! It is nice and compact and should be part of your standard safety kit carried on your bike. I highly recommend this light and suggest giving them as gifts to your riding buddies...I did! |

I think the product is great and RELATIVELY easy to install. I say relatively because you really, truly, absolutely, MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! I thought I was, but as it turns out I was pulling the bumper end too hard and too fast. DO NOT DO THAT! If you take it nice and slow (and don't pull too hard) as the instructions state, the installation is a SNAP. In my case I was very thankful that a spare bumper had been included in the package.
Once the bumpers were installed they work as advertised. I wish I had known about them a year ago when I brought my 2008 GL1800. I could have avoided the wear now evident on my trunk lid edges.
This is an excellent product and as many have said, should be standard equipment on Gold Wings. I highly recommend it. |

This is an excellent application! I purchased the "plug-n-play" version for the GL1800. Installation was as easy as advertised. I spent most of the time trying to get the unit and wires to fit under my left glove box. Note: I use a Pioneer Inno satellite radio. It rests in a mounting bracket that I have located in the left pocket. If you sometimes use an alternate device (e.g., iPod) and you decide to place your satellite radio in the left pocket, remember to bring BOTH the original AUX line AND the plug for the AUX line (that is part of this kit) into the pocket. This will allow you to unplug the satellite radio and plug in your alternate device without messing with the audio out line on the radio's mount. This is a bit of a nuisance with the Pioneer Inno's mount. |

I agree with WA Biker's review. The use of the screw allows me to remove my Zumo 450 quickly. No more worrying if the unit will be stolen if I stop and step away from the bike for awhile. |

I had these tips installed prior to accepting delivery of my 2008 GL1800 from the dealer. They look great! |

I strongly recommend purchasing the Show Chrome TireGard TPMS. I originally purchased the Gene's Gallery TPMS and was very disappointed. The Gene's Gallery unit was defective out of the box - the pressure sensors were out of calibration and the monitor took more than 10 minutes to complete its self test. I sent the unit back to Gene's Gallery and ordered the Show Chrome TPMS from WingStuff. What an improvement! Installation is a snap and the unit works exactly as advertised. I am very pleased with it. NOTE: per the manual that is packaged with the Show Chrome TPMS the control unit is NOT water proof so if you decide to mount it on your bike keep it out of the rain (and other water sources, e.g., bike washing). |

The light is very compact and very bright...just as advertised. My main disappointment is that is too loose on my ear (I wear glasses) and falls off rather easily. |

***UPDATED REVIEW*** While I still think the rear LED lights are GREAT, I want to alert all current and future owners of a potential shortcoming with their use. While my twin brother and I were riding our motorcycles to Florida to witness the launch of STS-125 (NASA Space Shuttle mission to the Hubble Space Telescope) earlier this month (May 2009) he noticed that normal daytime sunlight was almost totally washing out the light being emitted by my bike's yellow LED signal lights.
We suspect that the combination of their placement (low) and the silver reflective plastic in the housing conspired to make the signals difficult to pick up by drivers behind the bike.
I strongly suggest that if you are going to, or have already installed the LED Saddle Bag Lights you keep this situation in mind. Of course at night all of the lights are beautiful.
The way I have decided to address the issue of poor signal light output during daytime hours is I have installed the GL1800 Clear Lense Run/Brake/Turn Signal Light found here at WingStuff.com. It is an easy installation (see my and other's reviews) and definitely lets the people behind you know your intentions. |

I am going to give this product five stars ONLY because it works as advertised. I say this because if it wasn't for Larry's posting on 5/14/09 I too would be calling Tech Support to find out why my light, when properly installed, didn't work, and my rating for this product would be much lower. As Larry said in his review, you will have to REVERSE the RED and GREEN wires in the trunk (i.e., connect the RED wire coming from the light to the GREEN wire on the short wire that connects to the sub harness, and the connect the GREEN wire coming from the light to the RED wire on the short wire that connects to the sub harness). Since everything is color coded it would be nice if Add On fixed this problem in the new units being built.
As others have also mentioned there isn't a "saddle bag filler" on the GL1800, all you have to do is remove the rear panel holding the license plate. Additionally, you DO NOT have to remove the passenger backrest, which I couldn't find instructions on how to do in the Honda GL1800 2006 - 2008 Service Manual. You should use a fish (I used a wire hanger that I straightened) to snake the long wire set (the one with the square green connectors on the end) to the set of connectors behind the rear panel.
Other than the items mentioned above and the poorly shot photos on page one of the installation instructions, the installation is truly "plug and play."
Note that after installation my Kisan TailBlazer Rear Brake Running & Spoiler Modulator operates just as it did with the original spoiler light (i.e., rapidly pulsates the spoiler light whenever the brakes are used). |

I have had one of these kickstand discs for years (purchased it before WingStuff started offering it). I have never had a problem with it bending or cracking. I attached a bright orange lanyard which I slip over the clutch handle to remind me not to leave it. I have had a couple of people walk up to the bike and ask what sort of security device the disc/lanyard was. Ha, ha, ha. Anyway, if you are concerned that the Gold Wing is too heavy for it (and you don't want to hunt for a soda can to crush) you might want to look into getting a Center Stand Replacement (CRS). It is sold by WingStuff and allows you to reverse onto your center stand with ease. When you are ready to go you simply drive off your center stand. No more manually rolling the bike onto its OEM center stand. |

I purchased my Air Force Blaster before it was offered by WingStuff. It is time saver! Instead of using several towels (and missing areas of your bike that need to be dried before they spot) the Blaster uses air to move and dry the water. By the way it is not only great for drying your motorcycle or car after washing, it is an excellent general purpose blower. I use mine to blow leaves and other yard debris out of my garage. I also use it to dry the dog after washing her. I highly recommend purchasing one. They are also durable (I've been using mine for over five years). |

Just like all of the other reviewers I found the installation to be easy. I added a switch box to control the lights (instead of connecting them to the ACC circuit). That way I can leave it on when the bike is parked. Now my Scorpio alarm system has an "alarm active" light. LOL The lights look great too! |

I was able to locate the proper wires using a wiring diagram for the 2005 GL1800 (I have model year 2008). I have posted the portion of the wiring diagram you need at:

I installed both the trunk and saddle bag LED light sets on my 2008 GL1800. Installation was quite easy and the lights look great. Note that a Dual Load Equalizer is required to eliminate the rapid flashing of the turn signals. |

They look great and are extremely easy to install. Note that the instructions that came with my set indicated that 6mm socket bolts were included, however the bolts supplied were only 5mm. |

The trunk handle looks great! Now about the "easy" installation...whatever you do FOLLOW Ed's suggestions (see his review below). If I hadn't blocked the "ut oh" areas I would still be looking for screws. The only difficulty I ran into was getting all of the wires behind the inner trunk liner adjusted properly so that the mounting screws (for the inner trunk liner) lined up properly. The handle is worth the price and really improves the use of the trunk. |

Since it's still a bit warm here in North Carolina (hit 99 degrees today) I obviously haven't had a chance to wear the shirt, but it does look well made and comfortable. I especially like the WingStuff logos. It is worth the price! |

I purchased a similar light with more features from Home Depot. I bought this one to carry on the bike. It is cheaper and does what I need it to do...provide point light without tying up one of my hands. |

As many others have stated these are excellent highway pegs. I just installed them in time for a 550 mile trip. They are indeed a joy to have! I was able to stretch out my legs when the ole knees started aching during the trip. Not only do they make my trips more enjoyable, they look great too! Installation was very simple and I found making position adjustments (during installation) easy to do. They definitely deserve the "Staff Pick" rating. |
