I would like to correct a mistake. I just looked at a installation where the footwings were used on a comfort package bike. There are only two of the snap holders used, one on the front and one on the rear. The second front side attachment was left off. The installer tie wrapped the two snap holders after the installation to keep them from popping loose. In my previous review, I had attempted to attach my footwing onto a comfort equipped bike and the second front attachment was blocked by the black rubber extension coming out of the exhaust cover. After talking to the individual who had them installed, he informed me that Baker built states that it is 'ok' to leave off the second front attachment point for bikes equipped with the comfort package. |

I like the foot wings, but they do not fit bikes equipped with the Comfort package. The configuration of the crashbars underneath the cylinder head is different. These will not fit on a bike that has the toe warmer doors. |

This is the third set on 3 different bikes. Latest a 2010 GL1800. These are the best, most comfortable and durable designed footpegs available for the GL1800. You should consider them standard equipment if you buy a wing, gives you that needed alternate foot position for longer rides. A welcome relief. Chrome problems have been a non-issue with these. A friend's bike a 2004 with 78,000 miles has a set and they still clean up like new. No rust to be seen. I highly recommend these. |

I love the short arms! I replaced my 6" arms with the 4" and I can ride in a more relaxed foot position. If you feel like the 6" arms are cramping your legs, you'll like the 4" arms. No chrome problems with these. The 6" arms I removed still look like new with no chrome issues. My friend's 2004 has had his ergo II's since new and the chrome hasn't started to deteriate there yet either. Still looks good as new. |

10-STARS!!! This is THE single most important item to put on your GL1800 as soon as you get it. PERIOD! Even the DEALER recommended it.
Comes with a paper template that you scotch tape on the top of the trunk lips and drill 4 - 1/4 inch holes. Easy to install, works like a charm. Remember when closing your trunk lid you face the rear of the trunk and reach over the top of the lid to the passenger backrest cushion and place your left and right hands cupping the top of the cushion and apply a firm snap motion to close the lid. It's going to be very tight the first few times but it will ease up after a few hot days. The time to put these on is as soon as you get the bike. The trunk paint rubbing starts immediately without these. I am so glad that wingstuff finally is carrying these! A+++
For total paint protection, I also recommend some of the small 3/8 inch diameter felt disks you can buy at walmart or lowes and place one disk next to each of the 6 protruding tabs on each side of the trunk top edge plus two disks on the rear area next to the tabs there. Also, the area right on each corner up by the trunk lights highest points can just barely rub there as well. I placed some velcro (soft side out) there and I've had zero paint rubbing. |

It is a very well designed and executed additional storage solution for when the wife wants to bring her makeup collection. It was one of the easiest installs too, no problems (thats very unusual...) Check my gallery for a couple of pictures with the rain cover on and off. I wish I could have bought it here but it's a new item for wingstuff. Better deal here than from the manufacturer! |

Well you get your money's worth for under $10 VIP. It has some scale issues and I wonder if the designer was working from pictures of a real bike instead of the real bike. Anyway, you aren't out much, and it does go with your model collection. |

These gloves work great! The install was simple, the wiring was a little messy in that you have to thread it through your clothing but that is just to be expected. One thing I wish was different is the controller has to be removed from the pocket built into the right glove before you can remove the right glove from your jacket. The controller and the power connector both hang from the right glove. The heat was wonderful. We just completed a 2500 mile trip up to White Bear Lake Minnesota and in temperatures down to 41 degrees with drizzle falling. My hands never got cold or wet, and most of the time I was running the gloves on the low or middle setting. I only briefly had them on the high setting. They work well, I got uniform heat and a little more on the knuckle area and the part that would be exposed on the hand grips when you are holding on to them. They were everything I had hoped they would be and at a great price too. I would buy them again without hesitation. |

Wow, talk about service. Wingstuff president Rick Arnoldo left me a voice message and followed up with an email this morning about the black snap caps I received with the chrome windwings. He explained that it was a snafu at bakerbuilt. They normally send out black caps with the black hardware and chrome caps with the chrome ones. They are replacing the black caps with chrome ones. Thanks Wingstuff and Rick. Your dedication to customer service is greatly appreciated! |

Just received and installed the chrome / dark smoke wings. They went on a friends 2010 just fine. Only complaint was the chrome hardware came with black screw cap covers. I've emailed wingstuff to see if they can remedy with chrome caps to match the finish of the hardware. Will post more on resolution. |

Just installed this pan on a friends 2010 and like the quality. We ran a file along the edges just to make sure there weren't any sharp spots. Went on as instructions indicated. Everything good. I'd buy one for my bike if I didn't already have an aluminum pan. A+ |

Well if you have a kuryakyn flag pole, these are the replacement flags. I got a couple of extras. It seems that they are more likely to fade than unravel. They are double stitched and made of a heavy fabric. Actually a reasonable price for a kury product. |

Good price, finest OEM quality. You can't go wrong with a honda filters. One less thing to worry about if a warranty repair comes up.
Wingstuff has the best prices on these I've found. |

Nice wrench, perfect to store in your saddlebags for that on the road oil change while traveling. One end takes the filter on and off and the other end fits the 17mm oil plug. Will fit the rear end final drive fill and drain plugs as well.
I gave it 4 stars because I think the small end should be a 6 point instead of 12 point box end. |

I've had these foot wings for almost a year now, and like them. I don't see how they could come off in a tight turn as they don't protrude out more than the crash bars or the foot pegs. Anyway, I noticed an immediate decrease in wind in cold weather on my feet. They advertise that they will keep water away, this seems to be true also when you are moving at speed. They have metal spring clips that hold on the crash bars, and are easy to snap off if you need to take the wings off for summer riding. Like I did on my 1500, I leave them on all year round.
If you are on a budget, I'd get the wind wings first, then the hand wings, then the leg wings and finally the foot wings. They all contribute to your comfort in riding. |

Great for holding on your license plate frame. I have the red ones. Standard size with wingnuts and little lock washers to help keep them on. |

I ordered one of these because it looked chrome with gold accents. Well it isn't. It's ALL GOLD. Must be a trick of the light. It's all chrome sister is also available here for a few bucks less. I think it would look really nice on an 05 or earlier bike that had gold HONDA letters and gold 'goldwing' script on it.
I gave it two stars because the picture is misleading as to it's true color. |

Well made, and solid. Chrome plating was very nice. They work anywhere you would have a fastener bolt. I've used them on my license plate frame on my 1500. They come with a short bolt, lock washer and nut. |

These are perfect to reinforce your trunk rack or other mountings where screw pressure and loading might cause the plastic to stress crack. Nice chrome finish and very strong due to the star design stamped into them. They are ever so slightly bowed for use on non-flat surfaces. I've used them on the road trip front fender extension mounting screws as well for extra protection. |

Ram Mounts are simply the best, most versatile reconfigurable mounting system devised. I have my Zumo on the left side handlebar, with this short arm and my video camera on the right side handlebar with the 4 inch arm along with my beverage butler drink holder mount. The mounts are stable, I am able to get good pictures and video from the camera while riding.
NOTE: I don't believe that winstuff sells it, but you can buy a locking wingnut to replace the standard ones that come with the arms from Ram. I got two keyed alike one for each side so I'm able to easily adjust them anytime I need to and still lock them so the arms can't be dismounted and the mountings stolen - at least not without destroying the arms.
There is no more versatile mounting system out there. I'm confident you will be satisfied. |

I got one of these, and must say that it's a marked improvement over the security screw that comes with the Zumo. If your like me, I don't trust a $600 piece of equipment to a plastic mount with a tiny screw to protect it. With the bike out of view. It's easy-on and easy-off and into the locked trunk with the GPS. Don't leave home without it.
I only give it 4 stars because of the incredible markup on this item. |

I love this cover!
You will have to remove the little ring on the remote, but the larger ring that the key goes through can still be used. The cover fits the remote perfectly, and keeps it from marking up the key area on your dash. I can't imagine riding with the key fob attached to your ignition key without this rubber protector. |

This is an update to my original review dated 05-08-2008.
Well, I've had these for over a year now, and the 'drifting' in wind gusts seems to have stopped. After repeated, and I mean repeated tightening down, they finally have stabilized.
I used them during the winter and must agree that they keep your hands much warmer than without them.
My opinion has improved on these and I can give them a qualified endorsement with the caveat that you must really tighten them down using TWO wrenches - one on the bolt that runs up into the mirror and one on the nut that tightens the arm with the wing on it. If you don't, you will strip out the mirror. I carried the two wrenches in my trunk to make adjustments while on the road. |

Nothing filters the air better than the factory filter. I don't see where the K&M filter really gives you anything extra and I'd be more concerned with the oiling requirements that filter requires.
We changed the stock filter on my friends bike after 34,000 miles. It still looked pretty good. I think the factory schedule can be stretched without any adverse symptoms unless you operate your bike in a dusty environment.
I am a firm believer in using Honda oils and filters. It gives me peace of mind and eliminates any issues if a warranty repair comes up. |
