Great tire
| I called the Tonawanda plant for Dunlop and was told they used the same carcass as the Elite3. As the E3 is an unadvertised runflat (they can't because of insurance) I wanted to make sure this tire was the same. I was told they mad changes to the tread rubber and tread itself to better the characteristics. I haven't been in a rain storm to check that change but very impressed with the lack of noise that the E3's had. I have a long driveway and my first drive on the tire at slow speeds made me think I did not have any air in my tires they were so smooth. As I have put 40,000 miles on E3's I noticed the "rolling" difference right away. Good job Dunlop! |
Chrome Metal Valve Covers for GL1800

| I purchased mine in late 2007. Last year they started to pit, this year the chrome is peeling off in big pieces. There is oxidation under the chrome which is bubbling up the chrome. Not much for quality or longevity. |
