Pay close attention to the caveat at the end of the product description and the extra pictures--- this battery is quite a bit smaller than stock, and you will need to build up the battery box with foam shims (provided) to make it fit. You will also need to either bend or trim the battery connections because the terminals on the Shorai don't allow room for the normal "bend" in the Goldwing connectors. I just cut mine a little shorter using a Dremel motor tool.
The battery has a shipping weight of only 3 pounds, contains no liquid to freeze, and sounds like a real dream. Once I got mine installed, the bike started without a problem and even seemed to have a little extra zip to the starter--even though the battery comes with only a 90% charge on it.
I haven't had this long enough to see the long-term effects, but I'm looking forward to all the benefits.
I only gave it 4 stars because the terminal posts are flimsy, the nuts are cheap and make it unnecessarily difficult to get the screws started when connecting it to the bike. I hope this is not an indication of the overall quality of construction.
Did I mention that the bike did start right up, and it seems to work just fine? And it trims over 10 pounds off the weight of the bike, requires zero maintenance, doesn't discharge when it sits, and won't freeze? (smile)

Deluxe Luggage Rack Bag w/Rain Cover
ITEM CODE: WSRACKBAG,   SKU: WSRACKBAG

07.28.2008
I have to agree with Dusty... the front velcro straps don't seem quite strong enough, so I used a bungee cord across the middle just to be sure. I took this on a 2500 mi trip, mostly freeway, and the rain cover vibrated so much in the wind that it scratched the trunk lid behind the passenger's backrest. If you remember to tuck it in behind the raised front bar of the luggage rack, however, you can avoid this. I would have left the two front mini-compartments off and beefed up the front straps. Still, it's a great bag for the price. If you're solo, put it on the back seat.

Lighted LED Red Lens Trunk Molding for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU3201,   SKU: KU3201

10.01.2007
It took me more like 5 hr to install the matching trunk and saddle bag moldings on my bike. Instructions were adequate, but I encountered a fit problem with the saddle bag molding and could have used better pictures or hints at this point. My problem was excess body paint preventing the leading screw stanchion on the saddlebag molding from making it *into* the hole on the bag, which prevented the molding from resting flush with the bag. Once I found this, a quick cleanout with a pocket knife put me back in business and they look great. The lack of lighting on the sides of the bike always bothered me, and these kits are just what you need to solve that problem... and they look sharp.
