| I guess everyone has their own opinion on what is good or bad for the most part. Before changing to the Metzelers, (which BTW I now have 14,000 miles on both of them), my Dunlop E 3's as previously stated were severely cupped by 5000 miles. Unless Dunlop can get their acts together, I will never put that brand of tire on my Wing again. In my opinion, the quality is not there. Honda must be getting those Dunlop tires dirt cheap to have them as their tire of choice. What I have done to obtain the high mileage on my tires is the following. I went 7 lbs over in the front and 9 lbs over in the back. After complaining to Dunlop's Factory Rep, his response was to add more tire pressure, same as stated above. Also going to Nitrogen in both tires improved the ride further and I also got 3 more mpg. I can only tell you what has worked for me so far. I'm enjoying the way the bike handles with these tires now and would I purchase them again, ABSOLUTELY ! You will not be disappointed. |
