About:

A dream is fulfilled. An '08 GW Airbag model. Got my '78 GW in 2000 and have been waiting to move up. Given my job I wanted nothing less than the airbag version. Hope I never need it but if I do I hope it works really well! Have to give a shout out to Shawnee Honda in Oklahoma. Their prices were the reason I was able to make the move. Now it's time to dress her up a bit. Appreciate the great feedback and reviews of the products from WingStuff. It really eased my decision making on options.

Martini LED Trunk Light Set
ITEM CODE: BB52791,   SKU: BB52791

I wrote the first review of these in April 2009. Every bulb still burns. The chrome is pristine. Very happy with the purchase.

Martini LED Trunk Light Set
ITEM CODE: BB52791,   SKU: BB52791

An update from my previous review above. It finally got warm enough in the garage to install these lights. Trunk install took me about 1.5 hours and the saddlebags 3 hours. Pretty straight forward install with good instructions - I'm just slow and carefull. Very happy with the end result. I have taken several day and night photos to view on my photo gallery to look at given the ugly photo on the left. Very solid pieces and look great. I'm sure they will look even better when I get around to cleaning my bike! Bonus feature is these plug into the braking system as well so all lights become more intense when the brakes are on so even folks beside you know you are braking! Saddle bag lights require drilling two holes per saddlebag but the instructions made it clear how and where to do them. Will give an update about their durability in the future.

Martini LED Trunk Light Set

Lower stars simply for delay in shipping. These were ordered 8/26/08. Just received shipment 12/10/08. So much for being available back in Oct. Have not completely unpacked them yet but they look like nice. The bulbs look fairly clear which I would prefer in the 'off' position. All pieces feel solid. The saddlebag set will require drilling 4 holes total. The trunk set needs no holes. No info in the directions on how to wire them to act as turn signals too - any suggestions? The "Additional Product Info" statement appears to have been cut off before explaining what is necessary. Could be awhile before I install these. Look good in the package - hope they look as good installed. FYI Instuctions for easy trim piece removal can be found at https://www.winglites.com/trim_removal_tip.htm

Front Fender Tip for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU7321,   SKU: KU7321

Wasn't sure about this at first. I thought the shark teeth would be enough but that front edge cried out for something special. Glad I did it. For those that have decreased near vision, use a pointed piece of tape to highlight the center ridge of the fender and you'll get it on dead center on the first shot.

LED Honda Fog Lights Airbag or Non Air Bag Model Gold Wing
ITEM CODE: PG20103

09.23.2008
Easy install. Had some trouble finding the electrical connection below the sleeve tucked way way down in the fairing. Not placed quite where the diagram would lead you to believe it's at. Increases visibility dramatically so I wont need more decorative LED's on the front fender. Wished they would light the road a little more but I try to avoid night driving anyway - too many deer, moose, and other critters around here. Got them mainly to alert oncoming traffic on winding two lane highways.
