High Output LED Cowl Light Kit for GL1800
ITEM CODE: PG32909

03.15.2011
Well ladies and gents,
After quite a bit of night driving in lots of incredibly dark mountainous, canyon, and valley type roads, here's my take on these. As stated in my earlier rating, a good kit, with high quality processing etc. As far as light output, I'm giving it about a 3 out of 5. The light, if aimed just a bit downward, is good and lights up the immediate area in front of the bike and a bit to the sides.

If, you aim them parallel with the ground, it dispurses very quickly and the headlights wash it out rapidly. I like them very much. I really like how they look in there and the effects of them in the daylight are worth the purchase. Hope this helps some.

High Output LED Cowl Light Kit for GL1800
ITEM CODE: PG32909

Just finished installing these. Let me say, they'll hurt your eyeballs if you look directly in them. I'll have to do a night run, for a true darkness test. As for the quality of the item, it's very nice.
Nice machine work, well thought out. The install was really straight forward although I was missing a couple of pieces and a quick call to E/C and they're on the way to me. I substituted the missing pieces 'till I get them.
They even give you a cool little soldering gun in the kit for "Burning" holes in the gussets for spring retension. Once you do the install, they're perfectly centered in the opening of the cowl. You can aim them up or down for slight adjustment if need, right from the front of the bike.
As far as the kit, and quality and customer service, I'd do it again in a heart beat.

Chrome Lower Front Cowl for GL1800
ITEM CODE: BB52608,   SKU: BB52608

I'm giving 5 because for me, it wasn't too hard to install and, the looks and quality of it are about as good as one can get. I had to tweak it just a tad here and there to make it fit but, with the help of the wife, it seamed to be OK.

I was installing some fog lights at the same time so, I was having fitment issues with multiple wires, hoses etc. at the same time. But, some minor pushing, tucking and squeezing here and there, it all came together.

My only issue at this point, the fog lights are misaligned just a tad so, some tweaking is in order to compensate for that. Nice looking addition to the front of the bike. I might have to get the timing cover now.
