Bobster Phoenix Over The Glass Interchangeable Lens Goggle
ITEM CODE: TR509260,   SKU: TR509260

Great construction. The multiple lenses (Different shades) are a big plus. Very nice storage case. Very comfortable to wear. My concern is road safety - Peripheral vision is greatly hindered (Like Horse blinders)- even when you turn your head. I had a car driving next to me on the road, and I could not see it! I still wear them - but I'm a lot more cautious now.....

Kuryakyn Passenger Transformer Floorboards for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU7006,   SKU: KU7006

If your significant other (Political correctness these days......) has short legs, that will not sit square on the OEM Floorboards - then these are the ones for you. My wife is one of those people..... she could not ride comfortably for long periods of time; without her legs falling asleep, from the lack of blood circulation. Now she can ride for several hundred miles - no complaints (and no arguments!).

Performance Stainless Belly Pan
ITEM CODE: WS187416,   SKU: WS187416

I bought this product 2 years ago. Its a well made item and its also very easy to install. It does what it was designed to do - Protect the bottom of the bike. I have not experienced any handling problems; and the engine temperature has not increased after the installation.

Having said all that..... Once you install it; it will create an "Air flow restriction" (The Louvers are not sufficient to exhaust all the air that is flowing into the engine compartment). When the heat raises (Thermal dynamics), you will feel it in the seat of your pants.

My bike has the "Comfort package", so I first thought that the heater was left on - wrong. On cool mornings or during the winter months, it's not noticeable - but when the heat index his 100 degrees here in Florida, the seat feels much hotter.

The bottom line is Protection versus comfort - tuff choice!

Kuryakyn Passenger Transformer Floorboards for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU7006,   SKU: KU7006

04.27.2012
Just got my new (Post-recall) Transformer Floorboards in the mail. No more disassembly of the old boards to canibalize assembly parts - these are a 1-piece assembly and completely Chromed. No more mis-matched parts (Honda boards and mounting swivel are not Chromed). Beautifull to look at.... We'll see how long they last.

Utopia Driver Backrest for GL1800 2001-2017
ITEM CODE: UT18MC12,   SKU: UT18MC12

This is a very nice backrest. Very comfortable and easely adjustable. Installation was easy.... but not fool-proof. The supplied bolts in my kit, had heads that were too tall - hitting the fuse box and thereby not allowing the seat to re-install in the original position. If you watch the installation video from the manufacturer; the bolts they use for the install are not the same as supplied in the kits(Ten demerits!).

I used a high speed grinder to remove the excess mateial from the bolt heads and Voila! When manufacturers try to save .20 cents; the customers wind up spending $20.00 to compensate for their fragality!

Mini Arms for Ergo II Highway Footpegs
ITEM CODE: KU4071,   SKU: KU4071

12.23.2008
I must appologize for my previous review of the Kuryakin Mini-Arms. In failing to read plain english - I failed to notice that it does not fit my application. Although the design of the ERGO II products are similar, the physical application is different. It can be made to work with the addition of a spacer (to compensate for the difference in wall thickness)

Deluxe Luggage Rack Bag w/Rain Cover
ITEM CODE: WSRACKBAG,   SKU: WSRACKBAG

12.05.2008
Excellent Product. My only gripe with the design, is that they placed the grab handle on the side of the bag (opposite side is a storage pouch; making it impossible to "Stand it as you carry it". The good side to this, is that the handle can also be used as another securing point to the Luggage rack (I used additional Velcro)

Mini Arms for Ergo II Highway Footpegs
ITEM CODE: KU4071,   SKU: KU4071

Totally disapointed with Kuryakin products. Why should the customer have to re-engeneer their products to make them fit their own product line? I got the mini arms for my ERGO II Highwayboards, with the understanding that they would fit out of the box - wrong answer! The product looks identical to the other arms, but the inner wall thickness is much smaller - requiring the inner bushing that I had to get after the fact. A little more thoughtfulness on their part (Including the 15 cent bushing in the package), would make less disgruntal customers. Too late for me.... I had to go through the "School of Hard Knocks"! It's not what you pay for, It's what you get for your investment that counts.

Kuryakyn Chrome Luggage Rack w/Rubber Inlay for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU7151,   SKU: KU7151

11.07.2008
I agree with the fact that it is cheaply made. The machine tooling marks are visible under the thin coat of chrome. I guess, thats the price for being cheap - you get what you pay for. I don't agree with some of the comments made by the other guys - If you don't drill through the inner shell, you loose structural intergrity. Honda engineers did not put that thing there just to hide the wires. Kuruakyn says that the rack is good for 5 lbs - My boots weigh more than that!
The rack should be good for that - times ten; The composite lid will crack under that kind of load though. I also got the risers for the rack - not a perfect fit either. Kuryakyn need to pay attention to the angles....
the rack's legs are angled as the lid also is - the bolt holes on the risers are straight (Duuuhh!). Had to angle drill the two rear risers, so they would sit square on the lid. BTW - the holes that I drilled, lined up perfectly to the rack. It is a beautiful rack once installed and a nice addition to my wing. If you do not get the risers, you will not get a good set of instructions. The riser's instructions are better written and also have pictures..... for those of you that have a hard time reading the instructions.
