Clear Replacement Windshields
ITEM CODE: PG02889

Buyer be ware.
If you purchase the standard windshield expecting the OEM vent to fit too bad for you. I just received my windshield without a vent hole planning to cutout and reuse my OEM vent that I just replaced last season rather than spending the extra money on a shield with a vent. Too bad for me, after cutting out the hole in the new shield I found the vent would not fit due to the curvature of the shield.
This is after I purchased previous to this shield a Slipstreamer swept back for the same application and found that after installing it the handle bars hit the shield when I went to move it in my garage and back to Wing Stuff it went. NOW THIS :(
I should have just went to the Honda dealer and bought the shield from them. It would have saved a lot of time and agravation.

The description of the product forgot to mention the fact that when you turn the handle bars to the stops the clutch and brake caliper reservoirs hit the windshield. Poor design! Also the shield was soo tall that it seemed as if I were looking through the windshield of a grey hound buss. I would have had to cut off approximately 6 inches maybe more to be able to look over the shield. I know some like to look through the windshield but try doing that in the rain or when weather conditions cause the windscreen to fog on the inside, visibility becomes nil. very dangerous.
Anyway, Slipstreamer needs to rethink this product. I will give credit for the strength of the shield, thick and very strong.
Also when you return a product to Wingstuff when they offer free shipping to you expect to pay out the wazoo for return shipping FedEx wanted over seventy dollars for a return. I called Wingstuff and after crying over the phone, the man at the other end allowed me to only pay twenty bucks to return a windshield that hit my handlebars not a bad deal when compared to seventy. Would have been a lot better if the item description would have explained the fact the bars hit the windshield. Had I known I wouldn't have ordered the thing in the first place.
