ITEM: AO451838

When I got this rack I was leery about the chroming, seemed to have orange peel like a bad paint job. I should have sent it back, it's rusting all over. so I either have to buy another or pay to have this one re-chromed. Bike is kept out of the weather, this rack is only a couple of years old and has never had straps or any hooks on it that might have damaged the chrome. I got it to mount the rubberized flag mast on the tongues with the holes, amazingly no rust there Don't buy it.

I got this item sept. of 2011. Looked nice then, I clear coated it to help add to it's life and it started showing rust about a year plus ago, now it's to the point I'm going to have to have it re-chromed or buy another. (My Goldwing is kept inside) Chrome on this I guess just won't hold up to daily weather/riding. Never even strapped or carried anything to it or one it. Not happy :{(

Motorcycle Tire Ceramic Balancing Beads

I have a real question about these, being a object in the tire with a TPMS system, do they injure or through time I'm sure they create a powder, will the TPMS sending units become damaged or fail ?

This item is fair on the install challenge (getting the curves equal on all sides before drilling), I used a string & painter tape to make it equal on the different angles. It didn't say the rack was as high as it is, has a pretty good height to it. I'd prefer lower. So I guess I'll have to look into a rear trunk fairing to kinda fill the space. I sprayed clear coat on it prior to install some points in the welds under the chrome I questioned. As a PGR rider I really like the wings for my flag poles 1/4 holes super for the screw down flag poles.

Have to agree with some of the others, this cover is thin but covers the entire bike (2010 Goldwing) but, there is NO reinforcement for the antenna areas. I'm in the electrical feild and I use the plastic covers that comes on a new reel of cable mostly control cable, split it up the middle or drill from the inside of it thru the top and slide it over the antenna (best wat so it won't slip off). Not bad though for the price. Would be nice if it were made with access to the trunk via a velcro type port..

Trunk Light Reconfiguration Harness for GL1800

I installed this on my 2010 Goldwing after work yesterday, for me seemed pretty simple hardest was getting the wings parts off since I've never done that. Took me about 1 hour ±, Did make a change or two with the wireing because it wouldn't route as the instruction stated. End result works great now have upper brake lites and signals. Now just have to find red bulbs for the original amber signal bulbs. You will probably get pulled over for having two different colors blinking back there. Anyone knows where I can get red (Bright leds prefered) let me know .Thanks and Ride Safe and Ride Often.

I installed this on my 2010 while on it's side stand, a few extra minutes added to install doing it that way. Real tight fit, Ohh and use gloves had some "Really Sharp" edges sliced me threw my glove. What's a little blood for my wing. Be Safe & Remember "Never Ride Faster than your Angel and Fly"
