Trailer Hitch Rack & Rack Bag Combo
ITEM CODE: RIGL18008COMBO,   SKU: RIGL18008COMBO

05.05.2013
I can’t speak for durability yet since I’ve only had this product for less than 4 months but we just got back from a 1,500 mile trip through the Alps which we went through every type of weather you can think of. Here is my two cents so far
PROS-
The storage you can get out of this bag is deceptive. We were able to pack for 6 days of clothes, a 17in laptop and hygiene kits with just this bag, which freed up room in the compartments for normal riding gear (Helmet, pants, jackets ETC…). When at the hotel I just leave the bag attached to the rack… pull out the two pins and take the whole thing inside.
I liked the many different compartments in the bag and on the outside of the bag as well, it made separating smaller items much easier. I bought some small luggage locks to secure the zippers to keep honest people honest.
Normally I would pack everything individually into the side and trunk compartments, cramming them in and at every overnight stop pull them out and put them in a bag or backpack to carry upstairs. This made it so convenient to be able to pack all of the things you want to carry into the hotel with you in just one bag. Then in the hotel you can take your time and repack the bag. For that alone this kit was worth it to me.
Even with the bag fully loaded down it didn’t change the feel of the bike on the road or alter the handling in any way. The only word of caution I would give is be careful when backing up because for obvious reasons your normal reverse clearance is different now.

CONS
While the cover for the bag does a great job of keeping the road grim off of the bag itself, it is permanently attached to the bag with an elastic strap. This is both good and bad, the good is if for whatever reason you forgot to put the cover on all the way it will still be there the next time you stop (I know from experience) the bad is you can’t clean it as easily with being attached to the bag
The Locking bars are a little tricky to take on and off, so much that I just leave them connected to the rack and it is easier to remove the two cotter pins and bring entire rack and bag in.
The bag is NOT water proof, although my gear didn’t get wet inside the bag with the cover on riding through rain, is more an FYI that you might want to pack them in zip lock or waterproof bag as a precaution

Overall I think this is a great product from what I’ve seen from it so far and if you are looking for extra space without sinking a lot of money into a trailer, this is definitely a really good option you might want to consider

Iso-Grip Set w/Chrome Accent Ring
ITEM CODE: KU6180,   SKU: KU6180

11.03.2012
I've had these grips for about 3 yrs now and I highly recommend them. They are bigger than the factory grips and much easier and more comfortable to hold onto. The grip is very firm and secure even in wet weather and the chrome hasn't peeled or bubbled to this point either.

F4 Scratch Resistant Clear or Tinted Windshields for GL1800
ITEM CODE: PG20048

02.08.2012
My windshield (-2) just arrived and I will comment on that in a later update when temps get above freezing. I wanted to comment on the customer service of Wingstuff. I had ordered my windshield about 2 weeks ago and with my typical luck as soon as it arrived I was browsing through the website and seen they were selling it for 10% off. I figured what the heck and contacted them. Since I had literally just ordered the same thing a week or two prior and was hoping I could still qualify for the discount. That same day Rodney had emailed me back saying that they would gladly refund the difference and credit the money back to my account, which they had done the same day. Yes I know this is only $30 difference but it is more the point that they were willing to honor the sale, even though they could have just as easily said NO and been done with it. I just think this speaks volumes of wingstuff and the staff taking care of us the customers and wanted to give credit where credit is due.
Again thank you Wingstuff for the superb customer service that you have shown me over the last few years. It is the small things like this that keep people

Black Ride Off Center Stand for GL1800
ITEM CODE: CJ1800BL,   SKU: CJ1800BL

09.02.2011
I installed my center stand about 4 months ago and wanted to hold off writing my review until I had a little bit of time using it. I’ll start off with some installation tips that might save you some frustration. I would recommend breaking your bolts while still on the original center stand, they are pretty tight. Also the right side bolt is reverse threaded. I didn’t have a tool for the spring so I stuff quarters (about $3 worth) into the spring while it was extended. This helps out so much when reinstalling the new stand, all I had to do was get a pair of needle nose pliers to stretch it the last ¼ inch. I posted some pictures on gl1800riders.com that may help as well.
Alright now for the review, I think this an awesome upgrade. Mine does have a little bit of a wobble at times but isn’t unstable in the least bit, you just have to understand it isn’t exactly like the old stand. It takes little to no effort to put this up by foot. Putting it up using reverse took me a few times to get the hang of especially when 2 up but can do it with great ease now. My wife loves that she can stay on the bike during gas stops and the stability when she is getting on and off of the bike. I like that even with back issues this enables me to still use the center stand. The only inconvenience as others have stated is when you are trying to air up the tires if you don’t use the board to raise it up, it takes a few times of rolling it back and forth to find the air valve.

Triple Chrome Plated Adjustable Flip Up Armrests for GL1800
ITEM CODE: RIGL18094,   SKU: RIGL18094

06.12.2011
I like many others had to wait for about 4 weeks to receive these armrests, due to them being back ordered.
The install was very easy, it took me a little over an hour but that was because I went over the directions about 10 times making sure all the measurements were correct. The arm rests themselves look wonderful, there is a little play in them from side to side but it is minimal. My wife loves the way they feel when they are down, arms are in a comfy position and says they are very sturdy and the pads are very comfortable as well (not hard blocks like a lot of them), likes that they can swing up out of the way when getting on and off. I like that you can open the trunk and they don't get in the way.
The biggest thing that my wife doesn't like about them (and this is pretty much the only negative comment she has about them) is that she doesn't have the option of riding with them up. I've adjusted the brackets as far apart as you can and when they are up they hit her in the back, so unless she is leaning forward she can't ride with the arm rests in the up position.
I've had these for about 2 months now.
