Cooler Rack System
ITEM CODE: RIGL18011,   SKU: RIGL18011

Since I live in Wisconsin near the manufacturer, I just popped over and picked up one of these along with with their small rack. Very well designed. Fit perfectly on my 2002 Goldwing. Everything seems very sturdy. I chose to go with this for extra storage because my trunk top rack had eventually cracked. The plastic bosses on the underside of the trunk lid are a weak point in the system. So, I've got this little trail behind rack now for longer trips. With a relatively flat bag on the rack you can still see my license and lights. Highly recommend!

Digital Music Player K-Version for USB/Aux/Bluetooth on GL1800 CD Input
ITEM CODE: JMJMDM-GL18K,   SKU: JMJMDM-GL18K

So, I bought this to replace a Soundgate device that was hooked up to an old iPod. The Soundgate never worked right, and it always crashed after a few hours use and had to be reset. A real pain. This J&M seems to work very well, and I have had no problems with crashes. Sound is good, too, although I don't seem to be able to adjust the source volume level, only at the level of the handlebar switch. Also, for some reason the songs from my usb drive don't come up on the GoldWing screen as 1, 2, 3, but as 1, 3, 5, 7, etc. I am not sure what this means if you put as many songs in a folder as they recommend (95). But I'm guessing the player won't know how to handle the larger numbers. I"m not yet sure how big a deal this is, but it leaves me less than fully satisfied. Also, the included manual gives no instructions as to how to format your usb stick: FAT32, FAT, etc. I'm hoping maybe a firmware update or something might fix the song numbering issue, but I have had no luck finding that on their website.

Makes a huge difference for the long rides. This thing is sturdy, not too difficult to install, and matches the OEM seat perfectly. The back rest absorbs shock when you hit a bump, and it keeps your back more upright so you have less stress and fatigue. Made a 3400 mile trip through the Rockies just after I installed it. I don't think I could have done that without this backrest. Highly recommended!

All Balls Steering Bearings for GL1800 & F6B
ITEM CODE: TR416233,   SKU: TR416233

09.26.2016
I've put a good many improvements into the 2002 Goldwing I bought from the original owner last year: highway pegs, new speakers, FOBO tire pressure monitors, a back rest, and a few more.

But I came back form a 3400 mile trip with uneven tire wear on a relatively new set of Dunlop Elite 3s. So I looked around on the net to see what I could find out and became convinced it had to be the front stem bearing. Confirmed the problem when I tested for the dreaded front end wobble, which I had at about 35-40 miles per hour.

Bought the All Balls Bearings and had them installed last week. Completely transformed the steering and handling of the bike. It tracks much truer now, both at speed and in the corners. What an amazing difference. The install was of course many times more expensive than the bearings, but I certainly got my money's worth.

Combined the new stem bearing, btw, with DynaBeads in both front and rear tires and the ride and handling of the bike are transformed. If I'm not mistaken, about 500 miles or so later the tire wear has already started to even out.
