How We Got Started

The CycleGiant.com Motorcycle Mall was created in concept back in 2003 between Richard Arnoldo (President - WingStuff.com) and John Gilson (Vice President - WingStuff.com). CycleGiant.com and its sister sites have come along way from the initial launch back in 2003. A recent redesign and the addition of more websites have launched the sites to the forefront of the Powersports e-commerce world. We’ve evolved from a single large motorcycle parts and accessories website into a whole network of sites – your online motorcycle mall.

Our world famous website, WingStuff.com, was originally founded by Rick and his wife Kathy in 1999. Rick has worked for Honda over the past 30 years, and has been specializing in Gold Wings since 1975. His dedication has earned him respect as being one of the most knowledgeable people in the industry.

Growing up in Providence, Rhode Island, Rick's motorcycle roots began at Honda Performance Center in East Providence Rhode Island, the dealer he purchased his first Honda from as a kid. Besides being a franchised Honda motorcycle dealer and specializing in Gold Wing customizing & engine building, they were also a franchised Lamborghini car dealer all under one roof. That’s right, the only Lamborghini / Honda dealer ever in the World!!

Rick had the best teachers in the industry. Owners Jeff and Suzanne taught him how to treat people at a very young age. Rick became Parts Manager and soon General Manager of Honda Performance Center and enjoyed 12 wonderful years there before moving to California in 1987 to continue his career with Honda to this day.

Rick and his wife Kathy decided to start their business because there were so many people out there who were looking for better product selection, good service, and fair prices. So bad was the need for a one stop friendly shopping place that offered everything you could think of, and if they didn’t have it you could even request it and they’ll get it for you. Thus, WingStuff.com was born to help people and save them money, offering them great old fashion service at fair prices from people who have been in the motorcycle industry helping other people for over the past 31 years.

John joined the WingStuff.com team in 2002 partnering with his brother in-law Rick. WingStuff.com, Inc. was founded in March of 2003 as a California Corporation between the two of them. John’s interest in motorcycles or anything with wheels and a motor can be traced back to his early childhood.

John grew up all over the world. He was born in Long Island, New York, then moved to Huntington Beach, California in 1980. His worldly travels began soon after that. He moved to Frankfurt, Germany in 1987 from Huntington Beach, California - he was only in the third grade. After a five year stint in Germany, from 3rd-8th grade, John Graduated High School from the American School in London, England in 1996. After High School, John returned back the States and attended the University of San Diego. After graduating in 2000, John embarked on a short career in Real Estate Finance before joining Rick and WingStuff.com

John takes care of all the back-end responsibilities of CycleGiant.com and its affiliated websites: Financials, Human Resources, Operations Management, just to name a few. Over the last few years, Rick has taken on a much bigger role in the development of the websites and creation of new ones.
