Honda Keeps Going Greener

Honda recently announced the next prototype generation of it's Solar Hydrogen Refill Station for electric fuel cell vehicles as in the Zero emissions Honda FCX Clarity. Based at it's Los Angeles Honda R&D Americas, Inc., this solar powered station appliance is very compact, yet provides complete overnight refill of it's electric fuel cells.

A growing number of of hydrogen fuel stations in Southern California has allowed vehicle refueling in about 5 minutes. This offers a growing number of clean, domestic energy supply fill stations for public transportation now and expanding into the future.

Zero Emissions - Honda has always been a world leader in finding better ways of fueling their vehicles, with performance, safety and comfort in mind. The Honda Clarity electric fuel cell vehicles gets high marks in providing zero emission vehicles that still provide performance, comfort, and an affordable price to keep it practical.

What Powers The Honda Clarity Vehicle

The Honda Clarity is powered by an onboard Honda V-Flow fuel cell stack with water vapor as it's only emission to the environment. It features fast acceleration and performance with a range of up to 240 miles on a fuel charge.

That's three times the fuel efficiency of modern gas powered automobiles. Honda has much experience in electric fuel cell technology and has been working hard to achieve mass market usage of their zero emissions fuel cell vehicle for the average consumer.

Motorcycles Of The Future

Will zero emission technology make it's way into the motorcycle market in the near future? It is no longer a matter of if we can do it, but when it will happen...

We need this sort of technology across the country. I live in Tucaon, AZ and with over 300 days of sunshine a year you would think having a large amount of solar power generating stations would be the norm - not so! We can thank the big oil companies for that
