Shark Evoline Helmet Full Face Flip-Up And Open Face All In One

Have you ever wanted to have a motorcycle helmet the really did everything, Shark Evoline motorcycle helmets are just what you've been waiting for. At first it's a full face modular helmet, then by lifting up the front section up and over the back of the shell it clicks into a stylish open face helmet.

Whether riding in extreme cold or hot weather, you can ride either way without the need of owning two helmets. Easily accepts motorcycle helmet headsets if desired and has a nice comfortable inner liner. Could this possibly make other helmets obsolete in design?, the concept of two helmets in one will attract buyers no matter what they ride.

Worlds Most Practical Motorcycle Helmet Design Into The Future

This Shark helmet demonstrates true evolution in helmet technology and design. Very simple to use, it incorporates a stylish ergonomic design that is bound to turn heads. This could lead to other manufacturers looking at offering consumers 2 helmets in one design as a more practical purchase for most motorcycle riders.

This Shark Evoline Helmet is one of the most anticipated helmets to be released for 2009. With huge success among riders across europe, these Full + Open Face All In One Helmet may change the way future helmet manufacturers design their motorcycle helmets.

The Shark Evoline Helmet Design

The Shark Evoline helmets are very high quality safety helmets, fit and finish is among the best we have seen and the ergonomic styling is superb. Our International overseas customers will also be able to purchase these due to are both dual ECE and DOT homologation approved

If you are not a fan of a full face flip-up helmet, no worries! You can wear as one of the most comfortable open face helmets on the market, and still switch to full face if it gets windy or the weather gets cold. That in itself separates this beyone any other helmet on the market today.

All things considered, these are an amazing value that no other helmet before it has ever been able to offer all in one helmet. As far as we have seen, this is the world's first motorcycle helmet that meets both safety standards in both its modes with the front locked as a full face and also with the front rotated all the way back into an open face.

Overall Helmet Quality And Finish

Looking over the inside and outside of these new Shark helmets we find the helmets paint to be one of the deepest paint jobs we've seen in terms of glossy finish. Photo's do not come close to showing you how nice the finish of these helmets really are in person.

The internal short sun visor rotates well and feels very secure when moving up or down. Unlike other flip-up modular helmets that cannot be worn in the up position while riding. Shark Evoline helmets can be worn in either configuration while riding due to the front chin bar clicking securely into position behind the helmet. Wow..

The front chin has a great venting system along with a soft comfortable removable helmet liner that is washable. Just remember the Evoline face shield must be raised before the visor is rotated up and before the visor is rotated down.

The helmet face shield lift tab is located at the top of the helmet visor as a reminder to the rider to remember to lift it before rotating.

Shark Evoline Helmet Fitment

These Shark helmets seem to fit true to size after having several people try on the helmet. One of the nice things about this helmet is the fact people with glasses have more room to slip their glasses on or off while the helmet is being worn.

The inner liner on the Shark Evoline is identical to the euro version we saw, it's extemely comfortable and very soft and plush. Another nice feature is the fact it is Washable and Removable. These helmets also feature nice deep ear pockets for those who want to install a helmet headset. Seems Shark has thought of everything when they designed these helmets.

Shark Helmet Venting System

This helmet has no rear vents, instead was designed to flow air thru it's sleek top vents and front chin vent. They do an amazing job of creating plenty of air flow inside the entire helmet. The nice thing about the Evoline is the fact you can simply lift the front chin bar backwards in hot weather and transform into an open face helmet anytime.

When turning it into an open face helmet, you'll get plenty of air flow along with the internal short sun shade you can flip down to block the sun from your eyes. No helmet on the market today can do anything like this Shark evoline 2 -in-1 helmet.

Shark Helmet Noise Levels

Due to the fact we sell so many motorcycle helmet headsets here, noise was something we wanted to test. While wearing this helmet at normal freeway speds here in California, we found this helmet to be exceptionally quiet. Also features plenty of room in front of your mouth inside the helmet to allow a helmet headset, this has been a problem with other brands.

Most flip style modular helmets tend to have a bit more noise than standard full face helmets. Considering everything this 2-in-1 helmet can do, it was actually quiet when the helmet was in the full face down position. Of course when wearing as an open face helmet more wind came into the helmet as it does with any open face helmet on the market. Overall, very good.

Shark Evoline Motorcycle Helmet Conclusion

Evidence of high quality is everywhere on this helmet, from the beautiful paint, superb comfort and washable removable liner, the overall quality make this one of the best helmets ever offered by any company.

Just the fact it can be worn as a full face or open face helmet sets it apart from anything else on the market today. We have never seen a motorcycle helmet that attracted so many different types of riders. The only thing we would like see is the addition of more colors.

Shark not only made a helmet that was among the best helmets we have seen, being two helmets in one make this an irresistable value for the consumer no matter what they ride.

Evoline helmets are certainly among the best helmets on the market today. Being both a full face and open face helmet, they may change the way manufacturers and consumers look at motorcycle helmets into the future.

OK, noticed these Shark helmets here a few weeks ago and really liked the fact they were the only helmets on the market I see that were designed to be both a full face and open face helmet all in one helmet. The internal sun shield was also something my wife allot and could be used in either the full or open face configuration of the helmet. It's cold here now and can also be in the early mornings and evenings going in and out of summer, during those times we like wearing full face helmets, especially my wife on the back who gets more allot more wind. We like the idea of the Shark helmet being a flip up full face and during the hot weather we always wear open face helmets, so at any time we can flip the front up and over the top turning this helmet into a nice looking open face. That alone is something no other helmet can offer, well, after getting permission from my wife ( you guys know what I'm talking about :) we decided to give them a try. Funny, right after we ordered I then noticed Wingstuff’s news blog review on them that just increased my anticipation of the helmets arriving this week from them. We ordered metallic silver to match my 2005 Gold Wing, let me tell you, get excited, these are by far the nicest helmets we have ever seen in all my years of motorcycle riding!! For me to say that is a big deal, I wanted to write a detailed review because these helmets deserve it. After riding with them, we are convinced these are the best we have ever worn and being able to convert back and forth from a full face to an open face in seconds is amazing. Now, all my friends are wanting them too! They are correct about the fit and finish, these helmet are high end in every way. They do seem to run true to size and the liner is softer and more comfortable than my old Arai helmet. It also has a removable and washable liner which is nice to be able to throw in the wash and keep clean. Installing my J&M 584 headset into this helmet was easy, just used my dremil to sink the speakers flush with the liner and the job was done. One of the BEST features about installing a headset in the Shark helmet is the fact it has plenty of room in front of your mouth for the headset boom mic when wearing it as a full face. This is a problem with others we have tried on. Can you tell we like these helmets, overall this is the best helmet I have ever owned and my wife feels the same way, highly recommend!! Frank

Why do all the really inovative helmets only come in smaller sizes? What about us bigger guys that ride. I need a size "8", 25 1/2". I know I'm not the only guy with that size.

Why only 2 colors? Any plans for more color choices?

Size 8 for me as well. He isn't the only guy!

Ditto on the sizes. Ordered a size XL, same as my SHOEI, but this helmet fit at least a size smaller. Loved everything about it; finish, quality, the swing-up mechanism, all the positive things others have said. But it was just too small. To my dismay it isn't available in a larger size. Please ask Shark to offer larger sizes and more colors. I'm waiting in line to buy!

The Shark helmets that I was able to try on came in Gloss black and matte black, Gloss silver and flat(Matte) silver as well as the "special edition" with the graphics package on gloss Black. There is a Brown/copper but its a European color only. I had been waiting since December for these helmets to come in as I wanted to see how easy the flip would be. I was well rewarded. I bought two, matte black, one for my wife and one for me. She loves the ease of flipping the chin away when we are street cruising and flipping it down in front when the ride starts moving faster. I loved the comfort of the lining and the ease of installing the K&M universal headset. I did some minor cutting on the removable ear pads (just the plastic)so the slim line speakers tucked right into place. The clip for the boom mic fits right into a small grove and the electronics work perfect. I have never had a helmet feel so good and work so well. I give it 5+ stars.
