Extremely popular in Europe.. The Italian Nolan N43 Trilogy motorcycle helmet is finally available here in North America in a variety of colors for just about any type of street rider. Nolan has taken the path of motorcycle helmet companies like Shark and Scorpion to allow the rider to switch from an open face to a full face all in one helmet.
Nolan N43 Trilogy is a huge step forward in innovative features and helmet design. Allowing motorcycle riders to change helmet components quickly anytime, making a motorcycle helmet that is like having six helmets in one. Nolan calls this N43 Trilogy a "Crossover" helmet. These newer generation motorcycle helmets offer more versatility and function whithin one helmet design. Nolans "Crossover" design with quick-change accessories allow for a customized look and alternate functions for every ride.
Cool New Features Of The Nolan N43 Trilogy Helmet
Wearing a Nolan N43 Trilogy motorcycle helmet is like having six helmets in one with it's removable Lexan Chin Bar, Clear Full Face Intergrated Shield, the heavy duty Stainlless Steel Latches that hold the removable Lexan Chin Bar securely in place. The helmet also includes a removable Brow Visor and famous Internal Smoke Shield that can be deployed with a single finger separate from the main full face intergrated shield. The helmet also includes a top exhaust vent and exhaust to pull hot air out, an easy to use Microlock chin strap and a pinlock anti fog shield insert
Riders may wear the Nolan N43 Trilogy helmet as an Open Face with a full face shield, or as a Full Face with only the front chin bar snapped in place. The removable chin bar locks securely in position with stainless steel latches, but can be easily pulled off by the rider. Riding in Hot weather you may want to take the front chin bar off, giving the helmet a jet fighter look. Riders have the option of snapping the front chin back on the helmet when desired for added wind protection. Nolan also incorporates Nolans Internal drop-down Sun Shield that easily depoys with a single finger.
The New Nolan N43 Interior Fitment
Inside the Nolan N43 the shell and liner seems to fit more people thanks to a more rounded liner and shell interior. The liner is removable and washable, with a antimicrobial, hypoallergenic antifungal liner. The air venting is greatly improved and provides better air flow than last years.
We rode with this helmet on hot day where temps reached upwards of high 90's, the helmet felt comfortable and did a much better job of venting compared to the previous generation N42 Nolan helmet.
The N43 is also offered in a standard style without all the removable custom features offered in the Trilogy model, it is simply called the N43 instead of N43 Trilogy for those who want to keep it simple shown in 3-colors on the bottom row below.

Nolan N43, N103 Helmet Headsets From J&M Electronics
J&M has designed it's 584 Elite series and 279 performance series headsets to fit directly into these new Nolan N43 helmets. They are designed to also fit the Nolan N103 helmet as well and are offered to fit Honda Gold Wings and any other factory adio system including J&M audio products. The HO models pictured at the very bottom are designed with HO mics for use with Harley Davidson adio systems, Victory Vision and Kawasaki systems. The standard styles shown directly below withthe people wearing the helmets fit the Honda Gold Wing audio system as well as any other factory system or J&M audio system.
The best sounding J&M headset is the famous 584 Elite Series, they feature two wide-fidelity miniature helmet speakers in stereo (sized specifically to fit the speaker depressions built into these new Nolan helmets), exclusive integrated headset mounting system and include an upper section hook-up cord. Also offered is the famous performance series 279 N43 helmet headset which still offers a great sound with a high-output AeroMike® III miniature boom microphone at a slightly lower price.

J&M N43, N103 Helmet Headsets Offer Intergrated Clampless Design
Both these great sounding helmet headsets were designed to intergrate into both the N43 and modular N103 Nolan helmets. These headsets snap right into the left side of the N43 or N103 shell, offering a nice clean clampless design without the need of a clamp.

New Nolan N43 Helmet Overview
